I was happy to find Turkey Soup, but there’s only 1 or 2 bits of turkey per can. It’s not worth 3 dollars plus per can. However, I really liked the large pieces of white potatoes and the sweet potatoes. It’s a slightly sweet soup. If the price was $1.79 per can I’d buy it again for the taters and sweetness.

As seen in the picture, this does not look (or taste) like turkey. If it had been advertised as beef, I wouldn’t have been as disappointed. The reason that I say “as disappointed “ is that it’s watery and the taste is rather weird. I imagine that the high amount of sodium is doing the heavy lifting in the flavor department. I’ll probably donate the remaining bowls to a charity and hope that they don’t hate me for it

I wasn’t sure when I first ordered, but I added a little less than a cup of rice to this, and it is AWESOME! I am sorry it’s a limited time 😔…

SO here is the thing. The SOUP- as far as the quality, the single serving portion , the “body” and the quality of the meat and other ingredients is very good, NO complaints. This soup WOULD be pretty tasty…. so what they have done here rather than use ghost peppers in an amount which would give their soup HEAT and make it taste nice- they put in- on purpose, what most people even those who love very spicy food, korean food etc would consider too much almost like they just are doing it to show off. Like it could be added in a concentration that makes this hot like shin ramyun, with the taste of ghost pepper but in this case they went with “ghost pepper heat level challenge”. That isnt inherently bad because this soup has its uses. You can use it to see how tolerant you are, I had no problem with the soup, it isnt “pain” level, its just sort of , generic “hot pepper” flavor to the point where you cant really taste much else, even though actually the broth has a nice overall body to it. Its hotter than something like Shin Ramyun- its more in the “samyang 2x spicy” kind of category if you had to compare it to a ramen but in my opinion samyang kind of does better with making the flavors match.
So TO SUM UP The soup is basically a decent chicken noodle with a “challenge level” of ghost pepper essence added to it, ignoring any accompaniment or context. It isnt offensive, and it could be really good if it were more balanced. I dont think I would bother getting it again but I would NOT SAY not to try it- if for no other reason than maybe youd like it more than me and I dont want to deny you- but thats my take on it. I am actually happy to see them TRYING to make some compelling products even if its mostly a meme at least they are trying. I am sure there are plenty of people out there who LOVE this because they’ve never had a soup this hot and they felt disappointed with all the weak ass “spicy” foods out there, but if youre not easily impressed by just heat level- dont expect the world.

I was trying to find this everywhere and could not find it except for here and was super excited because I love this soup. I bought a lot of cans of it and it was at affordable prices. I ate a bowl of it. I was super happy because it holds a lot and it’s very filling and taste great. The trick to it is if you don’t want it to be runny don’t put so much milk. The less the milk, the more thickness you get. Definitely recommend.

I purchased 8 cans of this product with a promo code, making the cost a little over 1.00 a can, and I was very pleased with the product, price and shipping. It was packaged very well, was not expired (have had this happen with other vendors!) and excellent price. Tastes great for those cold nights!!!

Okay, listen up, fellow parents! If you’re on the lookout for a hearty, no-nonsense soup that’ll make your taste buds do a happy dance, this soup is the real deal. Llet me tell you, this soup is like a warm hug on a chilly evening. The chunks of beef are no joke—they’re big, tender, and they mean business. None of that wimpy, barely-there stuff.
Now, let’s talk about the barley. It’s not just there for show; it adds this wholesome, chewy goodness that turns a regular soup into a meal. My kids, who usually treat veggies like the enemy, actually gobble up the carrots and potatoes in this soup without a fuss. It’s like a magic trick, but with vegetables. Plus, with a case of 12 cans, I’ve got a superhero stash in my pantry for those days when dinner needs to be on the table faster than you can say, “I’m hungry, Dad!”
Just pop open a can, heat it up, and voila—dinner is served. It’s a lifesaver on those hectic evenings when you’re juggling homework, soccer practice, and the inevitable “I forgot to tell you about the science project due tomorrow” bombshell. So, fellow moms and dads, if you want a soup that’s as reliable as your favorite pair of worn-in sneakers, Campbell’s Chunky Soup, Hearty Beef and Barley, is the way to go.

Campbell’s Ghost Pepper Chicken Soup delivers an intense punch of heat that’s not for the faint-hearted. This soup truly lives up to its name—ghost pepper is no joke! The fiery kick hits you right from the first spoonful, unleashing a wave of intense spiciness that can set your taste buds on fire. For spice enthusiasts seeking an adventurous culinary experience, this soup is a thrill ride.
However, the soup’s extreme heat might overpower the flavors for some. Yet, there’s a saving grace—the addition of sour cream. When a dollop of cool, tangy sour cream is mixed in, it’s like a flavorful ceasefire. The creaminess tempers the heat, creating a more balanced and enjoyable taste profile. The combination of the soup’s robust chicken flavor with the soothing creaminess of sour cream creates a dynamic contrast that elevates the overall experience.
Overall, Campbell’s Ghost Pepper Chicken Soup is not for everyone, especially those who can’t handle intense heat. But for heat seekers who appreciate a fiery kick and are willing to tame it with a touch of sour cream, it can be an exhilarating and surprisingly delicious choice. Proceed with caution and a dollop of sour cream for a fiery yet flavorful adventure!
