Dry skin, dry skin, dry skin… the story of my life. That and extremely sensitive skin. The list of products that causes itchy skin and painful rashes is endless. At the suggestion of my doctor, I decided to switch to cocoa butter EVERYTHING — lotion, soap, you name it.
Before using this soap, getting out of the shower was a miserable experience. Immediately after toweling off, my skin was so dry that I was afraid it was about to crack. I was always racing to a bottle of lotion to bring relief and rid my body of that extra-tight feeling all over my body. A bottle of lotion would last me about a week.
Oh. My. Goodness. This made a huge difference, and I noticed it instantly. The first time I used this soap, I didn’t feel like a reptile anymore. What an improvement!
The smell isn’t overpowering, and there isn’t any soap residue. It comes off cleanly when rinsing. Best of all, it doesn’t irritate my skin whatsoever.
I just wish they made this in a body wash or shower gel form. But until then, I’m definitely sticking with this. Great product.

I was surprised that this soap left me moderately dry once I got out of the shower and dried off. I personally enjoyed the smell, it’s very close to the lotion. Also, it lathered really well in my washcloth. The experience in the shower was great but the drying factor was a disappointment. I do not recommend for use in the winter if you’re looking for a moisturizing bar. I highly suggest an immediate follow up with a good moisturizer/lotion afterwards. Honestly, I will finish the 12pk that I bought because the experience in the shower meets my expectations and moisturizing after a shower is always part of my skin care anyway, but I won’t purchase this product again until they address the drying affects of the soap.

It takes everything in me not to gnaw on this delicious bar. The scent is absolutely yummy. My sensitive skin adores this wildly moisturizing soap. It’s GREAT to shave with…better than shave gel! It never dries me out, lasts forever, and the price is absurdly cheap. I’ve been buying this beauty for years and plan to never stop!

I love these Cocoa Butter Vitamin E cream soap bars. Not only do I feel like I’m doing the environment a solid, (haha, get it, solid…) but my skin is so happy with this cleanser.
It’s creamy, lathers up really well and makes my skin feel and smell fantastic. It’s a light milk chocolate scent, which isn’t overwhelming or too sweet. It’s what I always associate with Palmers cocoa products.
My skin is happy, it’s not overly drying and doesn’t leave me feeling tight. My sensitive skin flareups have lessened, and it’s just clean. No left behind makeup, no sunscreen residue.
I highly recommend this bar soap!

I like Palmers lotion a lot, so I wanted to give their soap a try. It’s good. I like it. Unfortunately, I could only purchase it in a pack of 12, so it was a gamble that paid off, I guess. It’s soap. Moisturizing soap. You’ll still need to moisturize after your shower, so don’t think you are going to cut corners here.
