I have been using this product for a while now, and this time I felt like the quality was somewhat compromised. The face-wash gel was a little lighter than it used to be and it mostly made my skin dry after wash. One good thing was it It has an enhanced scent.

Weak quality control – the seam at the top was broken on all three tubes. The first time I used it I got face wash all over the place because it came out of both ends. I thought I must have gotten a dud or it got damaged in shipping but when all three had the same leak in the same spot this seemed like a bigger problem. I can use the tube and the product is decent, I just donāt have to open the cap to get the product out. Wonāt buy again, at least not in this form.

For starters, I did give this face wash an honest try. I even had it on my subscribe and save auto delivery for six months. So hereās an honest review.
Iāll start on a positive note by saying the fragrance is great. Itās got that familiar, old school barber shop note to it and itās lasting. I can pick up notes of it on my beard well into the afternoon, but thatās about all it does. This wash is more like a body wash in the sense that it weāre not really sure if it does what it says it does but what we know for sure is makes us smell good.
The wash seems less effective in actually cleaning your pores than other face washes.
If youāre actually concerned about the health and appearance of the skin on your face, try the CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser followed by the Cetaphil Pro Oil Removing Facewash. It works lads! If you have acne prone oily skin, youāre going to want to pass on this.
Next, your beard. The Nivia Beard & Facewash is labeled as such, but! If youāre actually concerned about the health and appearance of your beard, still clean your face thoroughly with the aforementioned washes, or your preferred brand equivalent, but use a dedicated beard product line. I use Cremo Thickening Beard Wash, followed by Cremo Cooling Citrus Mint Beard Wash & Softener.
In summary, the Nivia Deep Cleansing Beard and Facewash isnāt a deep cleansing wash at all. Itās fair, and does an okay job of cleaning your face and beard. But, I have to say, buy a dedicated facewash and a dedicated beard wash.
The Nivia wash is hardly what youād call the jack of all trades, and certainly the master of none.

As I started growing a beard my skin was breaking out. Using Nivea cleared it up right away. I love the scent. I use Nivea shave cream and aftershave, I love their products.

The cost alone is worth the price of admission plus small enough for air travel. The wash is gel like with a black tint. I like the fact that it doesn’t stain the shower tile like some others I have used which takes a little bit of scrubbing to get off. The scent is especially strong and masculine somewhat like a cologne. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and clean, not dry or irritated one bit. I also have a large beard and doesn’t seem to effect that negatively either. Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase and would buy again. š
