I really like what Head and Shoulders is doing with their product line lately. I have moderate dandruff and this is enough alone to keep it in check. Sometimes I use the Royal Oils shampoos and conditioners. If you like those, you’ll probably like this. It’s matte, but not dull looking, easy to use and there’s a lot in the jar for the price. Will buy again. I like the fact that it’s unscented or possibly lightly scented (didn’t check). Heavy perfumes can cause dermatitis reactions on my scalp, resulting in dandruff. NO THANKS lol.

The jar arrived on time, in fact earlier than originally scheduled. The aroma is faint (berries?) and inoffensive (to me, at least and it’ll be on my head all day). There is a tiny folder on the bottom of the jar and upon opening it I discovered seven pages of “drug facts.” This is handy to have, lest a customer be tempted to taste the product, rub it in his or her eyes, ears, nose, etc. However, what is missing is any instruction on how to apply the product. Wet hands? Damp hair? Rub it in briskly, all the way to the scalp? Come on, Procter & Gamble! The drug facts are a good way both to alert customers about possible dangers and to avoid liability suits. But nowhere do you tell customers the appropriate way to use it.
On a less critical note, what I really like most about the product is that it is made in CANADA, not in a different country whose name also begins with “C.”
After trying the product a second time, I still have the gripe about the lack of usage instructions. However,
I now rate this product as Excellent in all respects. I have discovered, to borrow a phrase from an ancient ad for a different product, “A Little Dab’ll Do You.” And as evidence of my high opinion, I just ordered two more jars!

I normally use Old spice putty , but now discontinued. I tried this but it’s too thick and sticky not like the old spice which is light and creamy easy to manage on my thining hair.

As someone who suffers from moderate dandruff, I use head and shoulders shampoo a couple times a week but I noticed my previous hair gel was causing dryness and dandruff. I saw this once at my local retail pharmacy and never saw it again so I am so happy I can get it from JBS-APS. It has great smell, great hold, not greasy, and leaves my scalp feeling great.
