customer –
Iāve tried different cereals with my infant, but this one by far is the easiest on his stomach. It has good consistency and flavor as well. A good first food for an infant.

We bought this to start our baby on solid foods because we figured this was a better first solid food for baby than the rice cereal (what with the risk of having higher levels of arsenic). First we mixed it with some formula, just like a lot of baby articles online recommended but it was hard feeding it to our baby — a lot of that food ended up in the bibs or being tossed in the sink since he wouldn’t eat much of it. Not to mention, mixing it with the formula gave it a very distinct metallic smell. We figured it was the high levels of iron in the formula added to the also high levels of iron in the cereal that caused the metal smell. Eventually my wife tried with just water and the baby practically ate up the whole bowl. Plus, we didn’t have the metallic smell anymore. Soon we will mix this with some fruits and veggies but for us, this is definitely a great starter solid food for baby.

I thought this oatmeal was good. My daughter likes it. I just didnāt like the plastic container compared to brands like Holle that have a cardboard boxes.
But then I read about heavy metals, including arsenic, present in Gerber foods. Their rice cereals are def worse but their oatmeal isnāt that much better apparently.
After some research, Hipp and Holle are apparently the safest.

I never write reviews, but I felt compelled to after reading a few here with parents experiencing vomiting with this product and their babies.
My little one has FPIES which is a type of food allergy that is not detected by the usual blood test. FPIES stands for food protein induced enterocolitis syndrome and is basically a GI reaction to a certain food protein. With FPIES, babies experience vomiting and/or diarrhea rather than an anaphylactic response. This product contains wheat which is one of the most common triggers for FPIES and food allergies in general. I suspect those who have tried this with their babies and experienced vomiting have a wheat intolerance.
Back to the productā my little one luckily does not have a wheat allergy. He tolerates this stuff well and itās been great mixed in with his morning yogurt and purĆ©ed fruits. I also add it to bone broth and basically anything that needs a little more oomph to it. I always finish his leftovers because I hate food going to waste, and I think the taste is very subtle. Itās mostly just for added texture. Packaging makes it easy to measure out. No complaints!

I bought this cereal for introducing solids to my 6 month old. She took to it very well and hasn’t had any stomach issues. It’s one of her favorite things to eat now. It’s a good value in bulk and super easy to make and mix with fruits. Would recommend.

pro:
My baby likes this oatmeal cereal very much.
con:
Poor packaging.
This is a pack of 6. Too much for a baby who needs to try different foods with various flavors.

I have fed all three of my children this brand of oatmeal and they have all enjoyed it. Itās so easy to make a breakfast or a snack with one of these and either water, or a fruit or veggie purĆ©e pouch, or yogurt. I would say that these are a must have for busy parents. My kids all really enjoy the texture and the flavor. My only complaint is that the lid is very poorly designed and does not stay on well.

My 6 month old daughter liked this flavor for weeks. Now she is more into purr aided carrots and smashed bananas
